Notice Description

The Wordsworth Trust wishes to appoint an Evaluation Consultant to work closely with the Curator and Head of Learning, the Engagement Officer and an Evaluation Working Group in the evaluation of 'Reimagining Wordsworth', our major redevelopment taking place between 2018 and 2021. In March 2018, the Heritage Lottery Fund awarded the Wordsworth Trust a grant of GBP 4.1 million for the delivery phase of 'Reimagining Wordsworth'. The grant puts the Wordsworth Trust on course to make profound and exciting changes to its site and activities in time to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Wordsworth's birth in 2020. Tasks to be undertaken - To develop an evaluation framework - To develop methodologies to measure the extent to which the Trust meets its targets, both quantitative and qualitative, including the measurement of the 5 Ways to Wellbeing and SROI - To work with the Trust team to embed this approach and knowledge across the staff - To report regularly on findings - To write a final report by March 2021. The Evaluation Consultant will prepare a report in line with current HLF guidelines and requirements, with particular reference to 'Evaluation: Good-practice guidance.
