Summary of the contracting process

The University of Exeter is seeking bids for the "Deep Digital Cornwall: Provision of Geochemical Sample Analysis Services," which falls under the services industry category. This open procurement process is currently at the tender stage, with submissions due by 1 June 2021. The contract is expected to commence on 15 June 2021 and conclude by 31 January 2022. The work primarily focuses on analysing approximately 2,500 soil samples related to tin-tungsten-copper mineralisation, and proposals should detail costs on a per-sample basis.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in laboratory and analytical services, particularly those with expertise in geochemical analysis. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, as they may be well-equipped to meet the specific requirements outlined, including QA/QC protocols and sample tracking capabilities. Businesses that can offer competitive pricing while ensuring quality and timely delivery of analytical results would find this opportunity particularly advantageous.
