Notice Title

Cambridgeshire County Council Mental Health Recovery and Inclusion Services

Notice Description

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG, Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council intend to jointly commission a county-wide community service which enables individuals with mental health needs to maximise their individual independence and resilience, supporting and enabling recovery. The service, which will start in April 2018, will put Service Users at the heart of delivery providing a range of activities and interventions which will support recovery and community inclusion throughout Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The provider will be expected to work in partnership with the wider system of health and social care, contributing to the sustainability and transformation plan, five year forward view objectives and Care Act principles. This will be a developmental model, with the future provider(s) working with commissioners over the lifetime of the contract to move towards a flexible outcome based contracting model. The Commissioners are holding a market event to update providers on the development of the commissioning strategy, specification and outcome measures in relation to the proposed services. A market engagement event has been arranged for Thursday 21st of September from 10:00-11:30 and will be held at Kestrel Room, Hinchingbrooke Country Park, Brampton Road, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE29 6DB. The purpose of this event will be to outline the engagement and development work undertaken so far, detail the procurement process and will also provide a networking opportunity for potential provider organisations who may wish to explore collaborative working. Places are limited to 2 per organisation. Please e-mail charlotte.wolstenholme@cambridgeshire.gov.uk by Thursday 14th of September to book your place at this event.
