ASC0277 - Soft Market Testing - Drug and Alcohol Lived Experience Commissioning Service (LECS): Integrating Lived Experience within Substance Misuse Commissioning
Notice Description
THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION Leicester City Council is considering co-commissioning a Drug and Alcohol Lived Experience Commissioning Service (LECS) that will effectively integrate local Lived Experience within the design, delivery, and review of substance misuse services. We anticipate that this service will recruit, train and support individuals living in Leicester with Lived Experience of substance misuse to play an active role in the planning and commissioning functions around drugs and alcohol misuse. As part of the commissioning process, the Authority is undertaking a soft market test. This gives potential providers and other stakeholders the opportunity to express their interests and feed in their views about the potential service model and specification principles. The Commissioners will use the information to appraise options and further develop the specification. This process does not constitute a formal tender or other competitive bidding process and will not result in the letting of a Contract. The Authority is using this process solely to test the market to gather information and ascertain the level of interest in this particular service. There are therefore no formal criteria which we will use to judge your responses and it is not our intention to provide any feedback. It is anticipated, dependent upon an engagement exercise, that tenders/quotations for this service would be sought in April 2022, to enable a new contract to begin from 01/09/2022. To participate in this Soft Market Testing, organisations that may be interested, either individually or as part of a consortium, must complete a Soft Market Testing questionnaire. The questionnaire can be found by copying and pasting the following web link into your web browser: https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=1b987de6-a182-ec11-8110-005056b64545 This completed questionnaire must be returned electronically by email before or no later than 14:00 hours on 22/02/2022 to procurement-asc@leicester.gov.uk with the subject heading: 'Completed SMT Q - LECS'.
