The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) is awarded a contract titled "CRD Humanhealth Monitoring - National Poisons Information Service" valued at £299,704 for toxic substances monitoring services. The contract commenced on 1 April 2018 and is active until 31 March 2021, with options for annual extensions. The procurement method used for this contract was selective, facilitated through a call-off from a framework agreement, and the award was published on 3 March 2022.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses in the environmental and health monitoring sector, particularly those specialising in toxicology or medical data collection. Companies with expertise in setting up monitoring schemes or those who have experience working alongside healthcare professionals to handle exposure incidents will likely find this contract appealing. As the contract extends into new phases, businesses capable of providing robust data management and reporting services may also have a competitive advantage in future tender processes.
