Notice Title

Counselling - Early Intervention and Family Support Services in Children and Family Centers

Notice Description

Early intervention counselling for families; this will be family units including the children (who could be any age). This is early intervention counselling therefore a model of no more than 8 sessions excluding the initial and final assessment should be sufficient. The focus is to reduce family breakdown, improve family relationships and increase emotional/mental wellbeing for all family members. There is a requirement for any successful organisations to commit to referring any families/parents/children onto appropriate statutory emotional wellbeing and mental health services if they are deemed at assessment to be beyond early intervention, and to advise the referrer of their decision not to take the case and confirming the action they have taken instead. A contract for a maximum number of families will be awarded and the flow of families will be managed through the Early Intervention and Family Support Service via a single point of referral. A formalised referral process will be agreed upon award of the contract.
