Summary of the contracting process

The London Borough of Havering is in the planning stage of a procurement process titled "Care & Well-being services at Dreywood Court, Paines Brook Court & St Ethelburga Court Extra Care Schemes". This initiative falls within the health and social work services industry category and is based in Romford, England. Key deadlines include the engagement end date on 26th September 2022, with plans to publish the tender opportunity in late September 2022 and a projected contract start date in April 2023. The Council aims to conduct this procurement in line with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, utilising the electronic tendering system Oracle Fusion for the process.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in care and well-being services, particularly those that cater to the needs of vulnerable populations. Organisations that are small to medium enterprises (SMEs) or voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) would be well-suited to compete, especially those with experience in delivering outcome-focused care in extra care housing schemes. By participating in this procurement, businesses can contribute to improving the quality of care for residents and potentially secure a three-year contract with an option for two-year extension.
