Notice Description

South Essex Homes working in partnership with Southend on Sea Borough Council are undertaking a rolling programme of lift refurbishment to their housing stock. This consists of lifts in high-rise blocks, medium rise blocks, hostels and sheltered housing schemes. The number of lifts to be renewed is not guaranteed in any one financial year and will be dependent on the available budget. The consultant will be required to undertake lift surveys, produce specifications and design, assist in tendering, site manage and provide contract management of lift upgrades and improvements to various lifts in tower blocks and/or sheltered housing properties. Additional information: South Essex Homes on behalf of Southend Borough Council are seeking suitably qualified organisations as Consultants for Lift Refurbishment, Design and Supervision within the Borough of Southend on Sea, Essex The procurement process will be conducted electronically via the Council's e-tender facility Procontract: https://procurement.southend.gov.uk/ You will need to register on the system, Express an Interest in this opportunity ( E-TENDER Project Id: DN419156 then look at 'My Opportunities' where you will be able to find and view all the tender documents.
