Notice Description

West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) is a new Unitary authority that came into existence on Thursday, 1st April 2021 following the Northamptonshire Structural Changes Order 2019. This Expression of Interest (EOI) aims to inform the market of a potential opportunity and gather feedback regarding the requirement stated below: WNC seeks a Family Support Drug and Alcohol Service that will comprehensively assist family members and significant others affected by someone else's addiction. The service should cater to the specific needs of these individuals and offer interventions to improve their well-being. Provide a detailed description of the services to be offered, including counselling, psychoeducation, group support, referral to treatment programs, family therapy, and outreach initiatives. Emphasise the importance of adopting a holistic approach that considers the impact of addiction on the entire family system. Demonstrate your organisation's track record in delivering high-quality family support services for drug and alcohol addiction. Showcase the qualifications and expertise of your staff members in addiction counselling, family therapy, and related fields. Explain how your service will provide personalised interventions and support tailored to the unique needs of each family member affected by addiction. Highlight evidence-based practices and approaches that have proven effective in addressing the challenges faced by family members. Emphasise the importance of collaborating with other agencies, such as social services, healthcare providers, and community organisations, to ensure coordinated support for families. Outline your approach to engaging and involving families in decision-making processes and co-production of services. Outline your proposed service delivery model, including strategies for outreach, engagement, and ongoing support. Detail any innovative approaches or technologies that will enhance service accessibility and effectiveness. Demonstrate your commitment to compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and safeguarding requirements. Provide information on your quality assurance processes, staff training, and monitoring of service delivery standards. Estimated annual value of PS160,000. This is an estimate and may change. Please submit an Expression of Interest, limited to two sides of A4, outlining how your organisation can meet the key points mentioned above for the Family Support Drug and Alcohol Service.
