Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process involves Suffolk County Council as the buying organisation, seeking to establish the "Supported Housing Framework and Day, Eve & Weekend Framework" within the health and social work services industry category. The current stage of the procurement is planning, with an engagement end date set for 11th August 2018. The main activities include a series of events scheduled for interested care and support providers in the East of England, aimed at facilitating discussion around future opportunities and strategy development.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses focused on supported housing, particularly those catering to individuals with learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and physical disabilities. Organisations that provide social care services, as well as small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) sectors, would find this an advantageous area to engage in the procurement process, with the potential to expand their service offerings and contribute to a diverse market landscape.
