Summary of the contracting process

The Staffordshire Police, representing the Staffordshire Safer Roads Partnership, is initiating a market engagement process for the provision of Digital Speed Enforcement Cameras. This procurement activity is in the planning stage and is focused on modernising their current 'wet-film' safety camera technology used across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. Notice Description

The Staffordshire Police Fire and Crime Commissioner (PFCC), on behalf of Staffordshire Safer Roads Partnership (SSRP), would like to notify the market of an upcoming engagement opportunity regarding Digital Speed Enforcement Cameras. SSRP currently utilise aging 'wet-film' safety camera technology across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent and it is their intention to carry out a procurement exercise, in the near future, to replace a selection of the existing sites with a modern digital solution. The Staffordshire PFCC plans to hold virtual 1-2-1 market engagement sessions to discuss the high-level detail of the procurement opportunity and capture market providers' thoughts and feedback on the proposed approach. Providers that express an interest in this exercise will be allocated a 1-2-1 virtual appointment on either 20th or 21st October 2021. The deadline for Expressions of Interest is on or before midday on Friday 1st October 2021, via the EU Supply Portal (link below). Following this deadline and confirmation of attendance, further information shall be provided to all EOIs, in advance of the engagement session. To obtain further information regarding this opportunity and to express your interest in this opportunity, please follow the link to our EU Supply e-tendering website, https://uk.eu-supply.com/app/rfq/viewtransaction.asp?TID=46033 . If your organisation is not already registered on EU Supply, then you will need to do this to express an interest in this opportunity. Please Note: This market engagement exercise is not part of any current Tender process. It is intended as an awareness, communication and information gathering exercise offering an opportunity for organisations to help inform potential future service specifications and/or commissioning intentions. Please Note: An expression of interest in this Market Engagement event will not automatically entitle your involvement in any future procurement exercise. Any procurement conducted as a result of this event will be advertised separately where necessary. Please Note: Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken by you prior to any subsequent procurement is a matter solely for your own commercial judgment. The Authority reserve the right to withdraw from the process at any time or to not tender the service or to tender on a different basis.
