Summary of the contracting process

Torus62 Ltd is currently conducting a tender for a "Minor Works Framework Agreement" aimed at appointing qualified contractors to deliver various works across the North West of England. This procurement process, classified under repair and maintenance services, is at the tender stage with a deadline for submissions set for 8th June 2018. The contract is expected to commence on 20th August 2018 and will run until 19th August 2022. The procurement method employed is an open procedure, inviting multiple suppliers to meet operational requirements through specialised lots.

This opportunity presents a significant prospect for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the construction and maintenance sector to expand their business. Contractors with expertise in areas such as remedial works and damp proofing will find this framework particularly advantageous, as it allows for the provision of specialised services while maximising project engagement. Firms based in the North West of England are especially well-positioned to apply, given the localised nature of the works required.
