Notice Description

Extra Care Domiciliary Support is provided to enable Customers to live in their own home within the ExtraCareHousing Scheme, preserving maximum independence, minimising risks and promoting good quality of life. The Care Provider will be expected to provide services within this context to residents, complementingandsupporting informal carers, where they exist. The Care Provider's 24-hour, seven days a week on-site team's main role is to provide personal care,practicalsupport and some housing-related support (e.g. assistance with heating controls) to residents. Inaddition, theCare Provider will be responsible for monitoring installed telecare and responding to emergencycalls frompendants, pull-cords, falls monitors, bed sensors, etc. This procurement is being run under the light touch regime Additional information: E-TENDERING ONLY (www.the-chest.org.uk) - Tenderers must not submit Tenders by postal methods or return a Tender via e-mail to The Council.
