Notice Title
Rehabilitation and Reablement Service
Notice Description
Southwark Council and Southwark CCG is preparing for a procurement exercise to secure a provider for rehabilitation and reablement services as part of our local integrated health and social care Intermediate Care Service. This procurement activity is anticipated to begin in early 2019. The Council wishes to engage with the Intermediate Care service market to obtain a better understanding from providers of the challenges and opportunities the proposed service model offers, and what Southwark would need to consider to make the procurement opportunity a viable proposition. An early market engagement event is therefore being held which will take place on 26th September 2018 at 160 Tooley Street, London SE1 2QH. Commissioners are holding this event to share with future prospective bidders the proposals for the service delivery model, as well as to gain valuable market insight before going out to tender in early 2019. The event will consist of a short overview presentation on Intermediate Care Southwark and the services to be commissioned, a summary of feedback from the questionnaire, and a chance for organisations to raise questions based on the information presented. Due to venue restrictions, we can only offer places for a maximum of two (2) representatives from eachorganisation to attend the event. Southwark would like to request that interested organisations contact April Ashley at april.ashley@nhs.net to obtain a pre-event questionnaire which should be submitted to Southwark prior to the early market engagement event to help inform the focus for discussions on the day and the future commissioning and procurement process. Alternatively please see pre-event questionnaire attached. Please return to april.ashley@nhs.net Additional information: Please return completed questionnaire to: april.ashley@nhs.net
