Notice Title
(NU/1359) Framework for Graphic Design Services for Printed Materials
Notice Description
The University invites tenders from suppliers to provide graphic design services for Newcastle University's core printed recruitment and corporate publications. The following categories of graphic design services are not explicitly included in this tender: i Digital design; ii PR and marketing advertising; iii Campaign development design and delivery; iv Brand development. Please note that print products designed and delivered as an element of one of the four exclusions above may be commissioned/purchased outside of this framework. While digital design is covered by another University contract, all work undertaken by graphic designers on this contract should be easily translatable into digital design work, without extensive further graphic design work. So the use and layout of fonts, colour palettes, design devices etc should be usable across multiple platforms, print and digital. However, the University reserves the right to use this framework for such services if it is deemed appropriate. Please also note that the University purchases its own print from an approved supplier list, and that any costings required are for design and the preparation of artwork for print only. Suppliers of graphic design may, on occasion, be permitted to arrange and purchase print on behalf of the University from the list of approved print suppliers only.
