Notice Description

Shorne Woods Country Park is the flagship Country Park with over 350,000 visitors per year. It is 118ha in size and consists of visitor amenities such as visitor centre, cafe, toilets, play areas, trim trails, waymarked trails and sculptures. The park provides a hub for access to the wider countryside by providing links to neighbouring sites, linked by the Darnley Trail, and the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The site is a Site of Special Scientific Interest within the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This submission should include a plan for how companies intend to meet the requirements below. Final designs will be agreed with the project team that includes the community archaeologist, Ranger Services Manager, Visitor Experience Manager and operations manager. The quote should include the removal of the existing interpretation. The following features will be retained: * The full size coppice tree in the middle of the centre * The bird sculptures flying from the balcony
