Notice Description

Grant Thornton to provide Audit Lead and two supporting trainees to deliver final audit fieldwork for the Ofwat 2018-19 audit, based in Birmingham. Staff are being provided to deliver the audit from 30/04 to 24/05, with an additional two days for each member of the team for completion work. Completion of the Ofwat audit file (following on from interim audit work already performed by the NAO), including addressing review points prior to Ofwat's Audit & Risk Assurance Committee on 10/06. The work performed must be in accordance with the approved testing plan and in line with International Standards on Auditing (as set out in the NAO's Financial Audit Methodology).
