Notice Title

LTLC Digital Critical Care Passports

Notice Description

Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award. Please note the contracting authority intends to direct award the contract to Axia Digital. The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal. Since Covid-19 Heath Education England [HEE] has had opportunity to realise the potential of system wide collaborations and rapid health responsiveness to deliver positive medical education reform. HEE believe that Axia Digital is the only organisation capable of providing the digital platform to meet the specific requirements to roll out the London Transformation and Learning Collaborative (LTLC) digital Critical Care Passports for Registered Support Clinicians (RSC) and Non-registered Support Staff (NRSS) across England. The Digital Skills Passport provided by Axia Digital focuses on documenting and delivering multi-professional trust-agnostic educational resources and training to support learners from all disciplines. This cross-skilling of London's NHS workforce aimed to improve staff wellbeing, patient care and safety in Critical Care. Since the launch and implementation of the Axia digital skills passport across London, a number of colleagues from Trusts in England have contacted LTLC to explore the possibility of accessing the digital Critical Care Skills Passport to use for staff redeployed in their critical care units. We propose the extension of the passport and access to other HEE regions, with the addition of a paediatric module to the digital skills passport. The financial envelope for the contract is PS60,000. For the Specification, Contract and the Case for Direct Award please access the portal at: https://health-family-contract-search.secure.force.com/?SearchType=Projects Please access the portal for all documents. All communications should be made via the messaging function on the Health Family eTendering portal. If any provider has concerns with the commissioning intentions outlined within the published documentation, please raise this via the eTendering Portal in the first instance within 30 days of the date of this Prior Information Notice. The closing date of this PIN is 23:59hrs on the 5th July 2021.
