To register on our e-sourcing portal click on https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk and follow the link "Register for CCS eSourcing". The European Spallation Source (ESS) is a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC), a multi-disciplinary research facility based on the world's most powerful neutron source. LOKI is a SANS instrument that will enable scientists to answer the challenging materials science questions of tomorrow in fields from health and aging, to sustainability and energy security. Loki will be designed and prebuilt by STFC. Once completed it will be shipped to the ESS site for installation. The requirement is for the design and supply of material, manufacture, assembly, testing and delivery of 3 XY Jaws Assemblies to STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. Included within the scope of work is: * The design of the equipment that is to be supplied * All sourcing, manufacturing and assembly activities associated with the supply of the equipment (unless otherwise stated in Section 2.3 of Appendix A PR19058 LoKI Jaws Specification) * The delivery of the Jaws to the STFC RAL site, and all packaging and handling activities associated with this delivery * Defining, implementing, and documenting the results of, the quality control and assurance plan * The documentation listed in Section 2.2 of Appendix A PR19058 LoKI Jaws Specification * The activities and deliverables needed for the approval steps listed in Section 3.4 of Appendix A PR19058 LoKI Jaws Specification Additional information: This requirement is not split into Lots as it is not deemed appropriate. DO NOT APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE BUYER. As part of the strategic alliance between UK Shared Business Services (UK SBS) and Crown Commercial Service (CCS), UK SBS can use the CCS eSourcing Suite for future procurements. If you have not yet registered on the eSourcing Suite, this can be done online at https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk by following the link "Supplier eSourcing Registration". Please note that, to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so. Once you have registered on the eSourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. This is done by emailing ExpressionOfInterest@crowncommercial.gov.uk. Your email must clearly state: the name and reference for the procurement you wish to register for; the name of the registered Bidder; and the name and contact details for the registered individual sending the email.
