Sale of Mixed Scrap Metal from Warwickshire recycling centres

Notice Description

The Council is seeking a contractor to meet its material reprocessing requirements for Mixed Scrap Metal (predominantly ferrous and mixed metals) arising at 8 recycling centres in Warwickshire. For the avoidance of doubt, the Council is expecting to receive an income from the sale of these materials. Contract term: 12 months with an option to extend by a further two 12 month periods (to a maximum of 3 years). Additional information: Warwickshire County Council will be using its e-tendering system (In-Tend) for the administration of this procurement process. Providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest. The web address for In-Tend is www.csw-jets.co.uk Registration and use of In-Tend is free. All correspondence or clarifications relating to this procurement process must be via the In-tend correspondence function.
