Notice Description

The Medical Research Council will shortly be embarking on a full tender process to appoint a principal contractor for the construction of a new building on the London Institute of Medical Sciences, Hammersmith Campus. Ahead of commencing this exercise, we would like to raise awareness for this project by way of an industry day where we will introduce our proposed design philosophy and identify the issues around logistics / milestones. Our hope is that is engaging with industry experts, that we can ensure that this requirement is well placed when it hits the market in the near future. The Medical Research Council will shortly be embarking on a full tender process to appoint a principal contractor for the construction of a new building on the London Institute of Medical Sciences, Hammersmith Campus. At this stage the expected value of the Construction element of this project will be circa PS50,000,000. Ahead of commencing this exercise, we would like to raise awareness for this project by way of an industry day where we will introduce our proposed design philosophy and identify the issues around logistics / milestones. Our hope is that is engaging with industry experts, that we can ensure that this requirement is well placed when it hits the market in the near future. The Industry Day will take place on Thursday April 19th 2018 at 14:00 at the MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences, Hammersmith Campus, Du Cane Road.
