Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process titled "Prevention Services Provider/Supplier Networking Sessions," initiated by Cornwall Council, is currently in the planning stage. This initiative aims to develop a comprehensive strategy for social inclusion and support services across the South West of the United Kingdom. The engagement end date for interested parties to participate is set for 30th April 2019. The expected value of the contracts totals £5,000,000, and the procurement is intended to follow a Competitive Procedure, focusing on social work services without accommodation and related community services.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses within the social care sector, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary and community sector enterprises (VCSEs). Companies that can provide innovative solutions for social inclusion and support for vulnerable populations, such as the homeless or individuals with mental health needs, would be well-positioned to compete. The networking sessions aimed at fostering collaborations and partnerships will enable potential bidders to align their offerings with the needs of Cornwall Council and engage effectively with local stakeholders.
