Notice Description

Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council (The Council) is seeking to develop a Flexible Purchasing System (FPS) for the provision of Day Opportunities in Stockport. The objective of the procurement exercise is to ensure that the Council offers a diverse range of Day Opportunity provision in line with our Care Act 2014 duties in relation to market shaping and commissioning. The Council is also committed to offering choice in relation to the Opportunities it commissions, to reflect the preferences and wishes of Individuals their carers and families. The Council is committed to working with organisations which share its values and can help achieve the following strategic objectives: * Create innovation and an asset-based approach. * Improve value for money. * Intervene early and effectively. * Build capability and resilience in communities and empower individuals. * Maintain and improve wellbeing and health. * Increase levels of economic independence. * Enable independent living and self-care. * Enable co-ordinated and Integrated Opportunities The Tender pack is available from The Chest reference DN 758627
