Summary of the contracting process

The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) is currently engaged in a procurement process for the "HCA Property Professional Services Framework". This initiative aims to establish a national framework agreement for property professional and technical services, covering acquisition, disposal, estate management, valuation, and project management services across England. The procurement is currently at the 'Award' stage, with a total contract value of £150,000,000, and the contract period spans from 18 June 2018 to 17 June 2022. The tender period has recently concluded, with the submission deadline having been 5 February 2018.

This framework presents significant opportunities for growth, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that specialise in real estate services. With the framework intended to appoint around 20 suppliers, businesses focused on property management, valuation, and consultancy can position themselves as key competitors. Notably, this contract allows for individual project appointments via direct awards or further competitions, making it an appealing prospect for firms looking to expand their market share within the public sector in England.
