Notice Title

GB-London: Research into Online Advertising Issues and the Current Self-Regulatory Solutions

Notice Description

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is seeking to appoint a Supplier to undertake a study on online advertising harms. In particular we would like to: A) Further quantify and qualify the issues associated with online advertising and the associated drivers, through a rapid evidence review; B) Explore to what extent market forces, consumers, self and co-regulation initiatives are able to address these issues - this is our priority area of focus. The research should identify areas where solutions need further development, due to issues such as: market failures, lack of development incentives, constraints that prevent solutions from working, or areas where initiatives have not yet been introduced. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. Deadline for receipt of tenders is 24/01/2020 at 12:00pm.
