Virtual Ward and Clinical Outpatient Services
Notice Description
The overall aim of the Virtual Ward and Clinical Outpatients Services Framework Agreement is to provide responsive and time limited support to individuals who are medically fit to receive treatment outside of an acute hospital by providing defined clinical services and/or advice/information/signposting to inform a care pathway which enables patients to safely resettle at home and promote independent and choice. The service provider will facilitate appropriate interventions and provide pharmacy treatments at home or at outpatient clinics close to home. This will promote independence and reduce the likelihood of hospital readmission or long term care. The interventions will be prompt and provide access to services which enable timely discharge or admission. The resulting Framework Agreement will be for the East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub (EoECPH) members, as well as any additional new members to this organisations throughout the duration of any upcoming framework. Subject to successful application for associate membership this Framework Agreement will include, and be for the benefit of any publicly funded (both wholly and partially funded) entity in the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England. This will include, but is not limited to: acute, ambulance, mental health, clinical commissioning groups, health and care trusts, area teams, local authorities, social enterprises, private providers delivering an NHS Commissioned Service and Special Health Authorities, HSC in Northern Ireland, NHS Scotland and NHS Wales, including any successor or emerging organisations, which will include but is not limited to the emerging landscape of combined health and social care commissioners and providers. This will include any statutory and other successor organisations to any of the foregoing. The Authority is not and shall not be liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest in participating in this opportunity. The Contracting Authority intends to use an eTendering system. As part of its pre-tender strategy, East of England Collaborative Procurement Hub would also like to engage with suppliers of these products/services via a Request for Information (RFI). If you would like to complete the Request for Information document in respect of the services which are the subject of this Contracts Finder Notice and associated Prior Information Notice, then, please register your expression of interest by emailing the procurement lead Jocelyn Bale at pharmacy@eoecph.nhs.co.uk . The Project ref is 19124 . The Request for Information will then be sent via email together with further supporting documentation outlining the scope in more detail. Applicants will then have 4 weeks from the dispatch of this notice to complete and return the RFI document. Closing date 16/04/2021 The Authority is seeking expressions of interest to continue to inform market intelligence and refine the scope. It is anticipated meetings will be arranged with providers to further this aim.
