Notice Description

The University is looking to procure a mutichannel potentiostat with a rotating ring disc assembly. This instrument allows the study electric behaviour of microbes. This instrument will be used to drive the microbial electrosynthesis process under controlled potential (chronoamperometry) to reduce carbon dioxide to high-value chemicals. The potentiostat must have 16 channels which allow the user to run many experiments together. It must also allow users to perform cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy to study the cathodic biofilm kinetics. The rotating ring disc assembly allows to study reaction kinetics.
