Innovate UK, part UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), hope to identify a consultancy or research body to appropriately map the lifecycle of battery EV's and ICE vehicles following a collision or accident. The contractor will pinpoint any issues arising from the increasing uptake of EVs from a battery life and insurance perspective and propose future packages of work which could help to address any potential issues identified. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
