Notice Description

Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a VEAT with a view to completing a Direct Award. Please note that this is not a Tender opportunity, and that the contracting authority intends to direct award the contract to the following provider VIGhk. Health Education England (HEE) is seeking to commission an education provider who is experienced in and will provide a high-quality VIG training programme to practitioners across the 75 eligible Local Authorities (LA), whether they have paid or volunteer positions. The aim of this procurement is to upskill practitioners, enabling them to deliver evidence-based VIG interventions in their local area to better support local families in improving the quality of parent-infant relationships. Heath Education England (HEE) believe that VIGhk is the only supplier with the requisite expertise and experience and capacity to assist HEE in fulfilling this work as part of the DHSC/OHID portfolio. At present VIGhk holds contracts to train practitioners in 10 perinatal services. The financial envelope for the contract is PS715,020 If any provider has concerns with the commissioning intentions outlined within the published documentation, please raise this via the e-Tendering Portal in the first instance within 10 days of the date of this notice.
