Notice Description

Newcastle University is constructing a new building called the catalyst building which showcases leading edge age-friendly architectural and biophilic design principles. From late 2019, this iconic building in the heart of Newcastle will be home to two National Innovation Centres: the National Innovation Centre for Ageing and the National Innovation Centre for Data. This is a contract with a single provider to provide a range of services over a 2 year period. The contract may be extended by mutual agreement for two further periods of one year each. It is anticipated the contract will commence on 1st April 2019. The services required generally comprise Front-of-house's services delivered through a Partnership Manager with professional staff to support the tenants in the building. You are required to proactively interact with businesses and visitors on site, be capable of authoritatively representing the ageing and data domains to potential tenant companies, property specialists, innovation, inward investment agencies, the LEP and local and central government partners. You will also act as the conduit to University back-of-house systems, resolves tenant issues and hosts engagement activities for the businesses co-located in the building.
