The Sanctuary, Hastings - Mental Health Crisis Accommodation Service (Reference 20.661) NHS East Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group Request for Information (RFI) The Commissioner is seeking the views of Healthcare Providers for a Mental Health Crisis Accommodation and Borderline Personality Disorder Guesting Service in Hastings, East Sussex. The anticipated value of this Service is PS386,000.00 per annum. The Commissioner is considering a contract period of 3 years plus an optional extension period of up to 2 further years (3+2). This is a process designed to help the Commissioner form a view of the best way to commission the service and is not the beginning of a Tender exercise. A Tender advertisement may be issued in due course, should the Commissioner consider this the optimum route to commission the service. Aims and objectives of the service are: Aims: * Improved & sustainable outcomes for clients * Individual resilience development * Reduction in inpatient admissions Objectives: * A suitable, non-medical alternative to hospital admission for identified people experiencing a mental health crisis * Short stay crisis/respite provision for individuals diagnosed with a personality disorder * Emotional and practical support to enable residents to manage and resolve their own periods of crisis including utilising support structures and facilities available in the community.
