Notice Title

Employment Land Study, Consultancy Support

Notice Description

To commission an employment study to help inform the new RBKC Local Plan. This document will set out the vision for future development over the next 20 years Additional information: This study will be wide ranging. As well as a conventional Employment Land Demand Assessment and an analysis of the need for new business floorspace, it will consider the viability of new and existing business floorspace in light of the new E class Business, Commercial and Service use class and the appropriateness of the provision of "affordable workspace" in a high value borough such as ours. The Council recognises that planning regulations are likely to change and that planning permission will no longer be required for a business to change to a home. The study will explore the impact that such a change might have, and help us decide whether a future Article 4 Direction may be appropriate
