Summary of the contracting process

The London Borough of Brent is initiating a tender for the "Church End Youth Club and Cafe pilot" aimed at enhancing youth engagement and services within the community. This project, which falls under the industry category of youth education services, is currently in the planning stage. A key milestone is the engagement end date set for 17th February 2022. Interested parties are invited to participate in an online workshop on the same day from 10am to 12noon. Brent Civic Centre, located in Wembley, will serve as the central administrative base for this initiative, which is designed to address significant local challenges such as deprivation and community cohesion.

This procurement presents an excellent opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary and community sector enterprises (VCSEs) to contribute to the development of a Youth Hub and Café that aims to empower young people. Businesses specialising in youth services, café operations, skill training, and community engagement would be well-suited to compete for this contract. By participating in this tender process, businesses can not only expand their market reach but also play a critical role in supporting local youth development and community activities.
