This Contract covers the appointment of a Clerk of Works (CoW) to act as an Independent third-party inspecting Works constructed by the TIWML Basebuild Principal Contractor at the Imperial War Museum, Lambeth Road, London on behalf of the Imperial War Museums. The CoW will be responsible for making sure that work is carried out to the Client's standards, specification and schedule. The CoW will make sure that the correct materials and workmanship are used and that the Client is given quality work and value for money workmanship are used and that the Client is given quality work and value for money. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
