This procurement falls under the category of support services for land and air transport, with a total contract value of £50,000. The tender period concludes on 18th December 2019, and the contract is anticipated to commence on 1st April 2020 for a duration of one year, with a potential one-year extension depending on funding and mutual agreement.

This tender presents significant business opportunities for service providers specialising in logistical support, particularly those with experience in international health projects or operations in Ethiopia and Zambia. Companies that facilitate travel arrangements, accommodation booking, and event coordination would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. Small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to consider participation, given PHE's openness to such suppliers.
