Notice Title

GovTech Catalyst Congestion Challenge

Notice Description

FlowX has spent the last 12 months researching how to overcome integration challenges with incumbent CCTV infrastructure. They have successfully navigated these barriers with Leeds City Council. FlowX is now partnering with Vivacity Labs. Using its deep machine learning algorithms, this project will develop the ability to automate incident detection from existing traffic management CCTV assets. Real-time incident alerts will ultimately be shared with traffic controllers integrated into the existing UTMC system. These alerts unlock a more effective use of existing infrastructure, enabling Traffic Operators to quickly intervene after an incident to stop the spread of congestion and so improve network resilience.
