Notice Description

The Trust currently has a requirement for the provision of Authorising Engineer (AE) for Asbestos Safety. Services required: 1. Quarterly Audits of the management of asbestos 2. Quarterly Audits of the Compliance team. 3. Internal investigations of incidents potentially leading to RIDDOR reports to the HSE 4. Advice on unorthodox situations 5. Audits on external contractors 6. Advice to the compliance team on best practices and actions consistent with the AE role. 7. Conflict resolution when different parties are at an impasse. 8. Policy and Procedural review for internal documents. 9. Creative solution creation to improve asbestos management. Generally duties include directly and indirectly contracted reactive and planned works as required by the Trust over the life of the contract. As such the bidder will be required to work closely with both Trust Staff as well as Third Party Bidders hired by the Trust.
