Removal and Replacement of Mechanical Extract Fans

Notice Description

Replacing of Mechanical extract fans as they appear old and approaching end of life expectancy. Upon completion of works leave site clean, tidy and ensure all repairs are in working order. Prior to any works commencing the Contractor will provide COSHH data sheets with the task specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). RAMS should take into account task risks and site related risks, including those identified by the DEFRA Client. All work carried out by the contractor should comply with the DEFRA approved code of practice regarding health, safety and wellbeing. Site Manager to have SMSTS accreditation (or equivalent) and site supervisors to have SSSTS accreditation. We advise a site visit takes place to ensure accurate quotes are provided. Site visit dates are Monday 4th September 2023 and Friday 15th September. Please contact Ben Frost via email ben.frost@defra.gov.uk to confirm your interest in this project and to arrange site visit.
