Orthodontic Services in Cumbria & North East

Notice Description

NHS England, North (Cumbria & North East) commissioning team are hosting a second market engagement event to discuss the procurement of orthodontics across Cumbria and North East. We would like to use this event to support any potential bidders with understanding the procurement process. Additional information: This facilitated event will primarily focus on, but not limited to: the Oral Health Needs Assessment for orthodontics; Outline of Service Specification; Proposed Groups/Lots for procurement; Explaining the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS); Application support. NHS England is committed to improving services and has an opportunity to improve, re-develop and re-commission the current orthodontics pathways. GDPs, specialist orthodontists and secondary care dental service providers are cordially invited to attend and contribute to the discussions, and help inform the future strategy. The event will be held on Wednesday 28th February 2018 at Waterfront 4, Newburn Riverside, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE15 8NY from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. To register your interest in attending the Market Engagement Event please ensure that you register on the eTendering system Proactis https://www.proactisplaza.com/SupplierPortal/?CID=NECS If your organisation would like to attend the market engagement event, please note only two attendees per organisation will be accepted. Please send a correspondence via the Proactis portal with the following details for each attendee: Name Job Title Contact details The deadline for registering to attend the event is 12 noon on Monday 26th February 2018. Please note that registering prior to the event is required. NB. None registered attendees will not be permitted on the evening. North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this market engagement event and communicate with organisations who have expressed an interest.
