To register on our e-sourcing portal click on https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk and follow the link "Register for CCS eSourcing" Freia is a neutron reflectometer optimised for soft condensed matter and life sciences that is currently being developed by UKRI as an in-kind collaboration with ESS ERIC. Freia will be installed and operated at the ESS facility in Lund, Sweden. More details on Freia can be found on the ESS website: https://europeanspallationsource.se/instruments/freia. This tender details the requirements for the supply of the Freia neutron guide Neutron Beam Optics Assembly (NBOA). The Freia NBOA will be installed at the ESS facility. The guide delivered must meet UKRI and ESS ERIC requirements. The NBOA will fit within the Neutron Beam Port Insert (NBPI), which will form a part of the ESS target systems. Please see attached for the full scope of works. The contract will be awarded based on the criteria set out on the sourcing documents. Additional information: This requirement is not split into Lots as it is not deemed appropriate. DO NOT APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE BUYER As part of the strategic alliance between UK Shared Business Services (UK SBS) and Crown Commercial Service (CCS), UK SBS can use the CCS eSourcing Suite for future procurements. If you have not yet registered on the eSourcing Suite, this can be done online at https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk by following the link "Supplier eSourcing Registration". Please note that, to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so.
