This Notice is for the awarded Memorandum of Understanding for the provision of training by the South Wales Police of drivers within the Long Term High Security Prison Group (LTHSPG) which is part of His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS). Additional information: This Memorandum of Understanding is for the provision of training by the South Wales Police of drivers within the Long Term High Security Prison Group (LTHSPG) which is part of His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS). This training is for new drivers and for refreshing existing drivers at regular intervals. Given the nature of the services, there are no other providers available within the marketplace that are capable or accredited to train the drivers within LTHSPG to the standards required to fulfil their role and duty which includes ensuring public safety and transporting prisoners safely.
