PR3930-WH-Boiler Replacement at Goodinge Health Centre.

Notice Description

The contractor shall allow to install the new boiler, associated equipment and controls prior to the replacement of the existing boilers expansion vessel and safety valve. This is to ensure that the heating and hot water to the day care centre and health clinic are not affected by the works in any way with the exception of the flue works which must be undertaken in close liaison with the building operators. The contractor shall allow for all necessary temporary power etc. to enable the above clause to be realised. A new control points will be installed concurrently. All plant items tested and commissioned by the manufacturers etc. The Tender will be computed in strict accordance with the Specification, however, where the Contractor wishes to put forward alternative equipment or method to that specified, notice in writing must be given at the time the Tender is submitted stating: * The alternative equipment or method proposed, and * The cost implications of the alternative submitted Should the alternatives although agreed by the Engineers prove of lower quality when installed than that specified, the Contractor shall revert to the original material or intent at their own cost.
