Notice Title
Anticoagulation Therapy Services (Ref 14.206) Market Engagement on behalf of NHS Brighton and Hove CCG
Notice Description
Brighton and Hove CCG are looking to commission a new community pharmacy anticoagulation monitoring service (CPAMS) from 1st April 2018. The CCG is exploring CPAMS to be contracted under an annual unit cost per patient, including management overheads, through a prime provider contractual model. The CCG does not anticipate paying more than NICE Guidance on Dabigatran TA249 - using an annual average cost per patient on warfarin (including monitoring) at PS242 per patient. Brighton and Hove are looking to work in partnership with the successful provider to support the development of the emerging cardiovascular pathway working with several other CCG's, which may offer opportunities in the future to deliver services across a wider sustainability and transformation plan (STP) footprint. Part of this process will be engaging and working with hospitals and other community providers across a wider area. It is expected that the attached service specification will change through market engagement and with the developing cardiovascular strategy and the CCG's will work with the provider through service development improvement plans and service redesign to meet the needs of its population. An electronic process is being used for this market engagement. Interested parties wishing to participate must register their details on the IN-tend eSourcing portal (https://in-tendhost.co.uk/soepscommissioning/aspx/Tenders/Current) to gain access to further information and obtain the engagement documents. All correspondence will be dealt through this website. Instructions to access the portal are attached.
