Summary of the contracting process

The NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board has awarded a contract to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for an Investigation and Rapid Intervention process. This contract, with a value of £200,000, falls under the development consultancy services category and involves an extensive procurement process using a call-off from a framework agreement, specifically the national RM6187 Management Consultancy Framework Three (MCF3) Lot 3. The procurement stage is complete with the contract spanning from 22nd July 2024 to 19th August 2024. Located in the East of England, this initiative aims to support systems within NHS England identified for financial intervention.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those offering management consultancy and financial advisory services. The competitive nature of the framework agreement ensures that only qualified suppliers proficient in delivering rapid and effective solutions were considered, catering to SMEs but not specifically targeting VCSE organisations. Companies that can provide robust investigation and implementation support, especially in financial planning and system-level interventions, would find this contract especially suitable for leveraging new business opportunities and showcasing their expertise within the healthcare sector.
