Notice Description

As part of the implementation of the Data and Insight Business Intelligence project solution a master data management (MDM) system is required so that records from the council's systems can be matched. The MDM through algorithms matches records that do not have a common unique reference within set tolerances. This allows a much more complete view of the data than would be available if only matching uniquely. The MDM solution that is required has already been identified by the provider of the Data and Insight Business Intelligence project. This is the one that has been used by them and there would be a significant learning curve and cost to using a different solution. The Council will award this contract directly via the CCS Data Application Services (DAS) framework, ref: RM3821
