Notice Title

GB-London: Report into Sharia Compliance in the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Notice Description

We expect that the report will examine from a Sharia perspective the legal structure of the LGPS as a defined benefit, statutory public sector scheme, where the member's benefits are guaranteed and based on length of service and salary. They are not related to the performance of the funds required to be maintained by the administering authority in order to pay benefits as they fall due. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
