Notice Description

Cannock Chase, East Staffordshire, North Staffordshire, South East Staffordshire and Seisdon Peninsula, Stafford and Surrounds and Stoke-on-Trent CCGs are seeking to appoint a provider to deliver non-emergency patient transport commencing August 2021 with the provider appointed through a multi-year contract. The CCGs will be seeking a provider that delivers a high quality patient focused service that is cost effective and innovative which underpins NHS services across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. A formal tender may be issued from Early September 2020 and Commissioners would like to gauge the appetite in the market, and would like potential bidders to express an interest in participating in this opportunity. 'Light Touch Regime' services: the future procurement will be for clinical services which are light touch regime services for the purpose of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 as specified in Schedule 3 of the Regulations ('Regulations'). Accordingly, the Contracting Authorities are only bound by those parts of the Regulations detailed in Chapter 3 Particular Procurement Regimes Section 7. The Contracting Authorities are not voluntarily following any other part of the Regulations. The procedure which the Contracting Authorities are following is set out in the Annex 1 issued with any future tender. As the CCG is a relevant body for the purpose of the National Health Service (procurement, patient choice and competition) (No2) Regulations 2013 these regulations also apply to this procurement. Any future tender will be undertaken via an e-procurement portal hosted by Bravo Solutions. To access published documentation, bidders should be registered with that portal. Midlands and Lancashire CSU requires that potential bidders, in submitting their expression of interest, to register at https://mlcsu.bravosolution.co.uk if not already done so.
