Notice Title

Membrane C02 Capture System

Notice Description

At the University of Sheffield, we are setting up a National Translation Energy Research Centre (TERC) and are looking to procure a wide range of new equipment focusing on bio-energy, renewable energy and carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) technologies. Flue gas from all combustion systems will be integrated into the on-site carbon capture plants (solvent-based, membrane-based and other CO2 capture systems). Membrane CO2 capture systems represent the next generation technology for carbon capture which will complement existing research capabilities and offer a portfolio of technologies for low carbon power generation and applications in energy/CO2 intensive industries, as well as opportunities for the development of carbon utilisation technologies and applications. It is envisaged that the new membrane CO2 capture system for TERC will provide a platform to aid product development and innovation, and systems integration across a wide range of research activities. This tender is funded by the ERDF Additional information: All tender documents, correspondences and tender returns must be obtained & conducted through the In-tend site, via the link shown above.
