CBC-0928-T-KH Insurance Services (Excluding Brokerage Services) - AWARD
Notice Description
Central Bedfordshire Council are looking to procure coverage for its insurance requirements effective April 2019. The process is being run under the Open Procedure and is split into Lots defining packaged risk classes. Please note that Applicants will be able to tender for All or Any number of Lots but where multiple Lots are quoted,no individual Lot should be held conditional on being awarded a further Lot. All bidder will be subject to passing the selection critria as defined within the contract documentation. Conditions of Participation - Ultimate Insurance Capacity must be placed with Insurance companies licensed to underwrite insurance within the UK and registered with the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority as appropriate. Any brokers subitting bids under MGA models or similar must also be registered with the Financial Conduct authority (FCA). Financial Criteria - A Standard & Poor Credit Rating (or equivalent) must be held of at least A- for Insurance Companies. Completed Tenders and attachments should be submitted electronically, by the due date via our "In-tend" electronic tendering system. Tenders must be uploaded via the "My Return" section of the system. Tenders submitted through the correspondence facility will not be considered. Your Tender must be submitted via the In-tend system by no later than 17:00 on 03/12/2018. Tenders received after that time will be excluded. Help and Support - The Council will provide as much support and information as it can to help guide you through the Tender process. Questions asked together with the response, will be made available to all tenderers to ensure a fair and consistent approach to all. If there is anything you are not sure of or need clarification on, please send a correspondence using the 'In-tend' portal tendering system
