To continue to deliver savings and better value from its third party spend there is a requirement for Walsall Council to improve and increase its knowledge of public sector spend. The requirement is to more fully understand how other Councils are spending their money with regards to categories & suppliers and in addition information to identify other commissioners with whom we can collaborate, to jointly manage a supplier more effectively than we can in isolation.
